Knife Drops

A Knife Drop is a scheduled release: you announce a piece (or a small batch) going live at a specific date and time, building anticipation. Create one at Dashboard → Drops.

How a drop works

  1. You create the drop with a title, description, knife and steel type, quantity, price, images, and a drop time.
  2. It goes to admin review (this keeps the public drops feed quality-controlled). You are emailed when it is approved or rejected.
  3. Approved drops show on the public Drops page as Upcoming.
  4. At the drop time it flips to Live Now, and 24 hours later it automatically wraps up.

Good to know

  • You can only edit a drop while it is pending or rejected, not once it is approved or live. Editing after that means recreating it.
  • The drop time is set at creation and is the anchor for going live.
  • Quantity and price are shown to build anticipation; drops are announcements, so buyers reach out through your storefront to purchase.
  • Add images, the first one is the thumbnail on the drops feed.
  • Creating drops requires a verified account (see Getting verified).
