BladeOS · Feature demos

See it work

Short walkthroughs of the features that make BladeOS different. Every one is recorded on the live app, both sides of the flow, nothing staged.

7 demos · roughly 20 minutes end to end

01

Auctions

Live sales

Sell a piece to the highest bidder. A smith lists a finished knife as a timed auction with a starting bid, a hidden reserve, a buy-it-now, and anti-snipe that nudges the clock on a last-second bid. A buyer sets the most they would pay and the system bids just enough to keep them in front, never showing their maximum. They can watch it, or take the buy-it-now to win on the spot. When it sells, the winner pays the smith directly and the sale drops into Financials with a certificate offered to the new owner.

02

Certificates of Authenticity

Trust

Proof that travels with the blade. A smith issues a Certificate of Authenticity on a finished knife, and it becomes a public trust page anyone can check with no login. When the owner sells it on, the certificate goes with it and the chain of custody grows in the open, while names and prices stay private. Report a piece lost or stolen, and every future scan shows the warning.

03

Build Journals

The story

The story behind every blade. A smith keeps a build journal on a knife, forging the billet, grinding the bevels, the quench, the handle, each step dated with a photo, then publishes it so buyers see how the piece was made right on the listing. For a commissioned blade the journal goes to the customer instead, who watches it come together in their own account and gets an email with every update.

04

Financials, Per-Blade Job Costing

The numbers

Know what every blade actually made you. Financials pulls income, expenses, and profit into one place, then goes further, per piece. It ranks the builds worst margin first and tells the truth on each one: cash margin against true margin once the maker’s own hours are counted. The nine hundred dollar sword that quietly lost money is the one it flags. At year end, the accountant gets a clean export in one click.

05

Events & Classes

Classes

Bladesmiths teach, too. Events lets a smith spin up a class, workshop, or show in one form and publish it to a public page people can find near them. A student registers in seconds with no account and gets a QR ticket. On the day, the smith opens that ticket at the door and one tap checks them in. Paid tickets flow straight into Financials.

06

The Knife Designer

World first

A world first. A customer designs a knife in the browser and sends it to the work pool, a smith costs it against his own inventory, adjusts it and quotes his version, and the customer accepts. The whole flow, both sides, start to finish.

07

The Website Builder

Storefront

One conversation, one published website. A smith types a single request and the builder writes his whole site: a full width forge video, his story, his six newest knives, a live map with opening hours, contact, and social links. One more line restyles the entire site to a light paper theme, and he publishes.
